Cooking Bucket List
I have started a list of things I want to try cooking sometime in my life. Do you have any good ideas? What else should I add? I have crossed off things that I have already accomplished and put a link to the posts. If only I wasn't working full time, I'd have more time to cook. Sigh.

I've made some of these things. If we still lived by each other we could have a cooking party. I've done ratatoille (easy and good, although Kelvin wished for some meat in it), homemade hamburger buns (not as amazing as at Sugar, but still pretty good), Thanksgiving dinner every year since Kelvin and I got married (we'd do our own on the weekend and spend the real day with family), and twice baked potatoes (easy peasy, you could do them this weekend). It seems like you've done some of these items since making your bucket list, so I don't mean to imply anything about your skill. Your blog is really amazing.
If you're interested, I saw Baklava and a Baked Alaska done on The Chew; I got my ratatouille recipe from the Rachael Ray Show; the Our Best Bites cookbook has a recipe for Homemade Hamburger Buns and Chimichurri; and for twice baked potatoes: bake, cut in half length-wise and remove the insides, mash with whatever you desire, then put back in skins and brown.
P.S. I work all weekend, but if I find the time I'm trying your Irish Soda Bread out. =)
Thanks Julie! How is NY? I had no idea you like to cook, too! The things that have a strike through them are things that I put on the list and then accomplished. Most of the other things on there are things that I just haven't had time to try. Its hard finding time to cook working full time! As you probably know. Where are you working? Thanks for checking out my blog and commenting. Hope all is well!
NY is pretty good. I work part time at a little consignment shop here. It's quintessential Ithaca. Local vendors bring in their products and for a percentage of the sale we give them a place to sell them. There's all sorts of things from crafts like greeting cards and knitted items to food like local honey and beef. I probably have more free time than you if you're working full time. I try to make a new recipe every week. Cooking has become as much of a hobby for me as running.
I'd like to hear about you too. You can email me or just reply here, whatever you want since it's your blog. Please keep in touch.
